GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
INTERPRETERS DIRECT CONTACT OOD registered in the Commercial Register with Unique ID Code 205918548, having its registered office and place of business at 20 Felix Kanitz St., Sofia, E-mail: admin@inter-dc.com, registered under the VAT Act with number BG205918548 (the Provider) maintains the Website - www.inter-dc.com, www.inter-dc.net, www.inter-dc.org, www.inter-dc.eu and the mobile application called IDC related to the Website whereby users shall be provided with the free service of finding an approximate location without an option for directions (navigation) to an interpreter requested by a user with specification of the interpreter's contact details and the option to hire the interpreter to perform interpretation (the Service).
A service within the meaning of these General Rules represents an information society service according to the Electronic Commerce Act (ECA) in relation to Directive 2000/31/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2000 on certain legal aspects of information society services, in particular electronic commerce, in the internal market (Directive on electronic commerce).
The Provider shall provide the Service free to users and against payment to interpreters and by these General Terms and Conditions the Provider declares to any users and interpreters that they must comply with the provisions specified in the Regulations on legalization, certification and translation of documents and other papers. In addition, any users and interpreters by consenting to these General Terms and Conditions agree not to cause in any way and by any means any difficulties in using the IDC application by other persons.
The Provider may temporarily restrict or suspend the access to the IDC application when maintenance, updating, technical troubleshooting, etc. is required. In any case, if the access to the IDC application is terminated within the meaning of the preceding sentence for more than 24 hours the Provider agrees to indicate an approximate period of removing the problem on the Website when visiting it.
The Provider will not in any way be involved in the payment process between interpreters and users using the IDC application.
The use of personal data both for the registration of interpreters on the IDC application and for those provided by a user using the IDC application is governed by the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Personal Data Protection Act in the Republic of Bulgaria as well as any other applicable regulations in this area. By these Terms and Conditions the Provider declares that no commercial messages within the meaning of the ECA will be sent through the IDC application and assumes no responsibility for any such messages provided to a user by an interpreter outside the IDC application. In addition, by these General Rules the Provider disclaims its responsibility and explicitly declares that the Provider is not involved in any way in the cases when a contact between users and interpreters has been made via Skype, Viber or any other similar communication application is not responsible, even if this contact has been established before or after the first contact provided through the IDC application. Also the Provider is not in any way responsible (by providing hyperlinks to such applications or otherwise) for the quality of the contact between users and interpreters who use communication channels other than the IDC application.
The IDC application is available through the online software store developed by Google - Google Play, the Apple online store - App Store, and the Provider's Website. These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the Provider, on the one hand, and the interpreters and users, on the other hand, in relation to the use of the application available through the Website. The use of the IDC application by the users does not require registration on the Website while registration is required for any interpreters who have this option by selecting the option "Register as an interpreter" (appearing after pressing the virtual button that allows to download the IDC application), where they enter the personal data required by the system or confirm the fact that they already have an account. The registration of interpreters shall be made against paying a fee. Any person aged over 16 has the opportunity to use the IDC application as a user and this fact as well as the condition that the user will not use the IDC application for commercial purposes shall be deemed confirmed when it is stated by the user on the Website that the user accepts these General Terms and Conditions. The set of data specified by interpreters upon their registration is unique and it is not possible to register for another account with the same data. Any registered interpreters have the opportunity to make changes to their account at any time as the system will indicate in case of data already existing in the system and will not allow to save it considering the account uniqueness requirements mentioned in the previous sentence. In case account access data is forgotten by an interpreter the Provider guarantees the possibility to restore their access by using the e-mail and phone number they have stated upon registration.
After pressing the button to download the IDC application the system may request permission to access certain system files on the device where installation is intended to. Regardless of the fulfilment of the condition of the preceding sentence, after pressing the button to download the IDC application from the Website any users and interpreters shall be referred to these General Terms and Conditions and the Personal Data Protection Rules, as the acceptance of both documents using the provided method of their simultaneous confirmation (check in the field "I accept all") is a condition to installing the application whereby the agreement between: 1. the Provider and a user or 2. the Provider and an interpreter, shall be deemed concluded. In case a user or an interpreter does not confirm by checking in the system of the IDC application that they simultaneously accept the conditions contained in the two documents then the agreement between: 1. the Provider and a user or 2. the Provider and an interpreter, shall not be concluded and the download of the application shall be terminated. The General Terms and Conditions and the Personal Data Protection Rules are freely and continuously available on the Website of the Provider which does not e-mail these documents to any users or interpreters upon their initial registration and upon any subsequent changes therein and invites any users and interpreters to get themselves updated thereon at regular intervals.
The IDC application system shows an indication of whether or not the e-mail addresses entered are valid against the approved writing standards and the Provider shall not be responsible if although any e-mail addresses are correctly written a user or an interpreter has stated e-mails inconsistent with their desires. The duration of the agreement concluded between: 1. the Provider and a user and 2. the Provider and an interpreter, coincides with the time during which users and interpreters have an existing account regardless of whether they have the IDC application installed on their devices. Closing an account shall be made by a request by the interpreters to the following Provider's E-mail - … (the one at the beginning of the document where the Provider's details are stated) and after confirmation by the Provider that the account has been removed from the IDC application system the agreement between the Provider and the interpreter shall be deemed terminated. The Provider reserves the right to unilaterally remove an account registered in the Website system in case an interpreter, or anybody else prevents in any way and by any means the use of the IDC application by any other person or in case the interpreter fails to pay within 14 days the required IDC application registration fee or violates any applicable regulations in the field of legalization, certification and translation of documents and other papers or in case the Provider has received systematic complaints from users about the above-mentioned interpreter for approximately similar reasons or in any cases of bad practice on the part of an interpreter. The details of the conclusion of the agreement shall be retained by the Provider up to 1 (one) year after its termination. At any time during the validity of the agreement users and interpreters may request access to the details of the conclusion thereof by notifying the Provider by means of a request sent to the following e-mail, i.e.:….
The languages which the agreement can be concluded in by- 1. the Provider and a user; or 2. the Provider and an interpreter are as follows: Bulgarian, Russian, English, German and French.
The Provider shall adhere to the Software Engineering Code of Ethics available at the following website: https://ethics.acm.org/code-of-ethics/software-engineering-code/.
By these General Terms and Conditions the Provider declares that it assumes no responsibility for the correctness of the details provided by the interpreters on the Website and does not carry out any subsequent verification of their accuracy. Users and interpreters are required to provide current details about themselves upon registration on the IDC application.
The Provider declares that it does not make any intermediate storage (caching) of information entered by any interpreters or a user of the IDC application and that it does not make storage of other person's information (hosting) and does not provide references to other person's information (linking). In addition, the Provider pays close attention to the fact that the IDC application does not provide an opportunity for document exchange between interpreters and users.
By these General Rules it is declared to users that regardless of the circumstance of where the content of the information provided through the IDC application is hosted in case of any arising disputes the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria shall apply. The requirement of the preceding sentence shall not apply in case of disputes arising in the field of intellectual property.
In view of the supervisory powers of the Commission for Consumer Protection and the Commission for Personal Data Protection in the field of activity of the Provider the following details of the above-mentioned authorities are provided by these General Terms and Conditions, i.e.:

If a provision stated in these General Terms and Conditions becomes invalid this will not render these General Terms and Conditions invalid nor the agreements concluded between: 1. the Provider and a user; or 2. the Provider and an interpreter.
These General Terms and Conditions shall take effect on 13 Nov. 2019.
